Well, I hadn't even considered the palm and set-top market before that press release with regard to the Star product. I realized it was a stock press release with 'okay, you want a quote, here it is'. It's the second mention from AT&T though that I've read that seems to indicate that WinCE just isn't going to be in the cards outside of the aforementioned '3 test markets'.

I didn't mean to imply by posting that link that it's StarOffice - end of story. It just occurred to me though that it's *not about JavaOS vs WinCE or NetDynamics vs WinCE, it's *all about Java vs WinCE and AT&T (and certainly AOL) isn't really considering something that's NOT Java.

StarPortal might be it. It might be one of several. The webtop has legs. It's Java, pure Java, and nothing BUT Java.

That's what the link meant to me.
