The Palm market and set-top market is important. Forget about CE. I hear it is a piece of junk or so I read in The Economist. At least that is the opinion of Psion and the Symbian group. Nokia is a member of that group.

Read the article on Nokia in the latest issue of Wired Magazine I believe Nokia will use Epoch which Psion and/or the Symbian group developed. The Symbian group has said that they will not depend upon MSFT software.

Butt the Symbian group believe that you will always be connected via your wireless devices. They may be cell phones. They may be Palm Pilots. And, in the States, there will be Jini devices. And JAVA, of course. I don't know if JINI and JAVA will be wireless, however.
