Whew! That was a pretty fierce reply.

Evolutionarily, I suppose it's better to father a lot of children and not worry about how superior or inferior they are -- the superior ones will survive, continuing the line, and the inferior ones will just drop by the wayside.

I hope we've moved beyond that stage where procreation was primarily a matter of survival of the race, though who knows what vestiges of that are hardwired into our brains.

The obvious answer is that neither men nor women should fuck around without adequate protection unless they are both sure that they are both committed to the children. (While you put the fuck around onus on the man, keep in mind that most men can only shoot three or four times a day at most, whereas women can accept many more loads than that, so in fact women are biologically more capable of fucking around than men are. Though I freely admit, before you even have to challenge me on it, that it is more often the man who is the initiator than the woman, but I think you must also freely admit that quite a few women are as or more aggressive than men. My son right now is being pursued by a woman who is quite clearly using sex as a weapon to try to lure him into a marriage he knows intellectually he isn't ready for.)

However, none of that changes the observation, if indeed it is one, that men raised by men are less likely to be violent than men raised by women. That's hard to square with the theory that men are primarily responsible for violence in our society.
