Somewhere back in the Rambus posts, I posted some segment shares, and the high end in 1998 was about 20%, and was actually not shrinking that rapidly. When you factored in that the high end systems were loaded with a much larger amount of memory than the low and mid-range systems, the share of all memory used in the high-end systems was I believe over 40% (I can't find the original post -- it may have been over 50%).

So if they get half of the high end market, as you stated, they'll have 20% to 25% of the overall PC memory market.
