I don't know what there would be to cheer about if the U.S. economy is in such grave danger of collapsing... what are you thinking? Why would you cheer such a huge economic disaster? That would have real catastrophic social and political implications and would certainly cause an economic tidal waves around the globe..... investors and pension funds, little old ladies, everyone would be effected... industry would come to a screeching halt... who would cheer such a thing? Everyone would lose their income, their savings, and finally their jobs and their homes.... why should I, or anyone, cheer for that? Understand that I don't take short positions because I'm cheering for an economic failure.. I short the SP's because I see a pull back in the markets... GZ
