John,
Normally with pennnies, you buy at the ask and sell at the bid.
I have put limit orders in that were inside the spread and had them sit for days.
That's why pennies are such a rip off. Some of them have a 15-20% spread. You instantly loose 20% when you buy because because
your freshly bought stock is only worth the bid and you had to pay the ask to get it.
It is possible to buy inside the spread when a penny is running,
but on a normal day it just doesn't happen.
On a slow day the MM's will really screw you.
You put in an order at the BID, and they'll drop the bid, drop the ask to your bid and take your money. The new bid will be 20% lower than what you just paid.
You must be bored toady if you're even thinking about playing with this POS again :-)
