The Market... ************** Jim, how should the market react next week with all the traders and MM's returning from vacation? Sly: With the 5 day MA below the 13 day MA on most major indexes, the short term trend is down... The return of traders could exacerbate the volatility to the downside... Expectations have now been raised for a third rate cut... We could see a test of the Dow 10,400 area soon... Tomorrow is the last trading day before Labor Day... We may get a small holiday rally... But, that's all it will be at this time until market breadth improves... Jim
