Luc, the question is, if the lifting-of-the-veil point has been reached...i have also a feeling that the indices may be subject to manipulation. everytime it looks like things could get dicey, they pull up a handful of big caps on relatively low volume. maybe i'm just paranoid, but could it not be that the authorities as well as the big WS players are so scared of a crash that they try to smooth out declines that way? maybe i'm starting to suffer from a persecution complex, it's a fitting ailment for a bear these days, but today's late ramp for instance just didn't feel right to me...
