gawd, you're way ahead of me ;)
i am thinking about indicators, how to choose those which fit the style i want to trade
basically i prefer to buy/sell and sit
from what i have seen on SI (an outside) this is not generally done, yet it looks like that is where the money is :)
but i know it takes a lot to sit and do nothing, a lot ;)

don't forget there is a metastock thread
also, depending on the datafeed you have, there could be another thread here as well

if you prefer to momo, have a look at stocks that have repetitive swings, PHCM is the craziest i know right now
of course it is a HUGE risk, generally swings a DOZEN points daily
today was exceptionally higher
but for PHCM you have to be a tape reader, fast and willing to lose bigtime or hang on for a reverse (can you take going the wrong way for 20 points or more?)

anyway, i've only got ONE long position hold for now, so i can focus on software i am building (commercial project) and modeling

good luck with it, and as i find MS resources, i'll post
regards,
ynot ;)
