Greed fear, money and sex. As long as there is sex, it will survive.

Hi lorrie,

"Look at the male of the species and what motivates it...

[greed and fear]"

Such broad generalities. I can't remember the last time I was afraid of the things of this Earth. I don't go to sci-fi movies because the special effects disract from what little plot is there. Same with "horror" movies. They aren't scary. I have to admit sometimes I am afraid of social situations. Will I say or do something that is unkind or inconsiderate. So I don't go out much. Then, I don't get too involved with my community and I am afraid I have not done enough good deeds. I don't consider these fears motivating in the sense you spoke of though. Its more like I am afraid of not living according to the principles I believe in. As far as being afraid of loosing wealth or power, well I can't say since I don't see my self possessing either. That sort of touches on the greed thing. I think you have to have acquired a taste for it to be motivated by it.
