Q past has usually acted opposite to the market. People sell to go chase other things. Buy Q when it is hot when the rest of market is down.

MH: Did you or anyone else read yesterday's WSJ article concerning the high probability of China's economy collapsing and that their banking system is a basket case similar to Russia. I know there has been a lot of discussion of CDMA into China on this thread and whether it's going to happen or not. I'm not sure of any implications of this article that concerns QCOM, but maybe the current stock price reflects CDMA happening in China and this article throws a roadblock into that. Any comments anyone?

In addition, if the WSJ article is true, then the future implications for the entire stock market is quite negative if and when China's economy and/or banks collapse. As a matter of fact, that article was quite an eye-opener - I had to re-read it a couple of times.
