Joemjo,

No, I haven't seen the Barron's article on EMS.
More attention like this for the EMS industry
can only be a good thing... even if it doesn't
mention ACT directly.

I found posts 808 & 809 on the yahoo thread to
be interesting, particularly post 809 which
makes the point that there's lots of EMS
business to go around... even to Tier 2 players.
However, while I share the writer's concern that
ACT needs to do a good job fully integrating CMC
into its operations, the writer appears to be
unaware of the many synergies between these
companies; two worth noting include:
+ common processes and equipment
=> this reduces the need for staff retraining
making integration easier.
+ complementary customer base
=> this diversifies their business and
creates new cross-selling opportunities.
In brief, I think ACT and CMC are a good match.
I hope their integration efforts move ahead
swiftly and smoothly so they can concentrate
on selling more to fill up their significant
unused capacity.

Rob

ACT has moved up nicely today on pretty good volume.
In the last hour, we've come close to the 52-week high
and broken above the point where Tokyo Joe sold us out.

=> Correction: In the last few minutes we broke out
above the old 52-week high with a jump in volume.
The price is currently up over 11% so far today.

But I've seen no news to account for this.
Does anyone have a theory as to why we've
moved up so well today? Do you think this
will extend into a multi-day rally?

Rob
