Good point NW. Based on past calls with 'Lucy P.' it does not look as if Merrill has much of a handle on the PC sector at all.. I also wonder if CPQ has gotten a better handle on meshing their reporting systems, since it was obvious that the merger and poor management resulted in things spiraling out of control. It would be interesting to hear if Capellas has talked with Lou Gerstner at IBM at all to get some 'tips' from the master. I did like his statement that CPQ would concentrate on profitable growth. All Pfeiffer ever said was growth, obviously missing the more important part of the equation <ggg>... Regards, John
