hi zen welcome to si. i read some of your posts at rb and financialville. i loof forward to your contributions here. i do take issue, however, with some of ehat i think you are trying to communicate. while i agree that dw isn't concerned with traders, i also have to think he has not handled the previous two earnings announcements adroitly, given what happened to the share price following, and including the manner in which the split was announced. i think dw is doing a much better job stroking the media and analysts this time, however, but i remain a little skeptical as to how the market will receive it. also, i am concerned that if the earnings are attributable to the gain on investment, they will be dismissed as one time events which overstate somehow the "real" earnings. of course this is the catch 22 in which cmgi finds itself because last time it was hammered for earnings even though the loss was overstated due to one time events. anyway, didn't mean to ramble so much, look forward to reading your posts.

Zen: Welcome to SI. I used your example, on CMGIOT, to illustrate that iCast revenue model may be superior to RB's.
