Howdy Joan and all Techriders, All the Sheepeople are in the High Country camping so I'm home. Like the stock market, to enjoy life it is best to be one step ahead of Sheepeople.
This week should be most interesting. With everyone on Wall Street back from vacations we will see where the market wants to go. We are coming into the hot season for internet stocks so I expect to see some new highs.
BTW here is a 909 I just got, Ding Ding Ding this is not a drill.......BLUE got a 909 last week on GE. Yes I said GE. I bought it two years ago or something like that (have the paper as it is a long term hold in the real Techride portfolio). I look at GE as a stock mutual fund because they are into so many things. Each six months when my Wife has her breast MRI it is a GE that scans her. They really do bring good things to life.
As for just buying and holding, at the same time I bought the GE paper I bought some BA paper. I have yet to break even on that one. On the brighter side I also bought some DELL paper then. I bought GNET also, it was a itty bitty baby then. This is a 30 month chart techstocks.com
I really like ICGE at this point and still say the safest internet play for now is MSFT. I've been in and out of STRM (easy to trade) as well as my trading shares of GNET. This has been a great year so far, the year of the 909 in 99. But I must wonder how good I would of done if not for the pulls on my coat tail by Techriders that say "hey BLUE lookey here." Thanks to all my pals.
The best part of Techride for me is that friends are friends and unlike some other places, when the market goes in the crapper we laugh, we don't get nasty. No matter what, it is nice to have good pals and to know you are not alone oposite.stsci.edu
