Bobby, inclosed an off topic and an on topic.........

<<o.t you forgot to mention ... the cancer issue>>

Sometimes the evolution process that helped us to pass on the stuff that
works and leave behind that which does not, will come back and bite us.

Cave man & women ate the char'ed monkey in the tree that caught fire
when lighting struck it. Note: Monkey died from the lighting strike
before being flamed cooked. And cave man and woman liked it that way
better than raw, and so continued to burn their meats. Other cave
men and women did not by chance find out about this and continued to
eat meat raw and get diseases and lose interest in mating and the
bottom line was that char'ed meat eating people had children and passed
this way of eating onto each next generation.

This was good for humans to continue by not getting sick, plus the
meat tasted better, and yes cave man and women did notice the good taste.

But now its bad now, and back then it was ok since the average life span
back then in cave time was only 18 years.

Do you know the way around this, marinade or coat the meat before
or after cooked, I forget.

on topic..
the whole picture..
...has Japan really started a recovery or is it...
...labor market is so very tight..how come wage...
...and hiring half of what was expected

Wondering where you wondering comes from,
cannot see the forest because the trees are in the way,
see a forest where there are no trees,
?

...if greenspan was scared about the market before
...how did he feel after that raise on friday

Just a guess on my part, but I think Alan was hopeing for the opposite
numbers being reported so that a expected and understood drop in the
stock market happened. Now Alan has to inflict bad tasting medicine,
where if the market did drop last friday only 1 tablespoon, but now
2 or 3 will be needed.

think of.. how does that fit into the cycle
-there was nothing like that in the late twenties right?

But my view the root and cause of the crash of 1929 is the stupid and
wrong and greed and see hear talk no reality of people, and its here 1999
same as 1929.

Did you read the article on the Cafe about how the derivates caused the
up 200 point at start of trading friday ?
