Hi Dave,

I was going to build that GALT example from the IPO, which was only 1 month earlier that I did begin with. I like to use 2-years worth of data to give AIM a chance to do it's stuff. Actually, I really prefer to use the IPO date as a start so it eliminates the subjectivity of date picking.

I used 10% resistences, and a min. of $500, which I consider
"by the book". I always like to run the back-test using the defaults, and only then will tinker with the variables to see how much extra $$ I can squeeze from the system, though I left this example on defaults.

The investor that is fortunate to get in when the stock is "undervalued" and has the foresight to sell at the top will do very well. I very much respect the work you are doing with C.A.
This example simply demonstrates what would have happened with the investor who got in near the IPO and AIMed it until now, using no "subjectivity" at all.

It's obvious that "when you get in" has a heck of a lot of effect on the outcome. It's clear that you also subscribe to the theory of "buy low and sell high", you just do it a little different :)

Regards,
D1

dave---uh, i "looked" at MMCN this morning. you, obviously know a wee bit more than your terse message let on.

will the cisco-ibm pact lead to gloom. or was the ibm biz going away anyways and the pullback (what's more than a pullback) overdue and will MMCN see its former glory days again.

inquiring minds need to know.
