Steve, interesting observations on AOL moving into the B2B space with AOLOfficeAnywhere, xDSL and freefreefree pricing.
AOL ought to trademark that AOA phrase....

It hit me as I read your post...AOL moves in as a worldwide CLEC service provider.

That is a big market.

Does this make sense to anybody else?

Steve, we each don't have electric generators in our house to produce electricity in our individual house, right? Then why do we each need a copy of Office software? MSFT and SUN and others will become just like the utility companies and we will log into their Application servers for metered use. I am eagerly awaiting the laying of cable and Internet II so that communication bandwidth does not become an issue.
