I think Miltie is a bubble for making the fool statement that he thought the FED was doing a good job. That makes him a hypocrite. He spent decades lambasting the FED, but now that they are getting back into the old price fixing game again in style, he's congratulating them.

The fact is that the job the FED is doing can't be done. At the least it violates what all the members of the board teach their students and that is that you can't fix prices in a market and expect the market pricing mechanism to work properly. They would deny their hypocrisy and tell you that "oh, but this is the real world".

Miltie used to fight that double standard, but he has gotten soft in his old age. As soon as Greenspan's WinXXX productivity melted he could see the handwriting on the wall so he changed his tune.
