but I am always teasing my nephew about the fact a faster machine will not get you thru the busy signals on our ISP faster.....

I'm am glad to see that you agree the Celeron is the better chip. Why Intel keeps trying to float the P3 when the Celeron at half the cost is the better value. Must be the unique personal serial number everybody wants.

Oh, will the Coppermine Celeron II be available in slot 1? I guess not, I think it will be a PPGA 370?

Darn, still need another motherboard. Maybe I can buy one of the Best Buy IBM Athlon demos?
After all, isn't the Athlon 550 faster than the P3 600 or the Xeon 550?

Gonna be bargains galore next year, whether you want an Intel or an AMD system.
