So what you are saying is that people who invest in China are bad because they help fund Communism (which in turn funds Clintonism). A perfectly logical and naive interpretation of the situation, expertly illustrated by your wishful thinking that all contractual disputes should be heard in Hong Kong, which btw is under the control of Red China.

Look, it takes 2 to tango. History is showing that the Reds don't dance. If you want to partake of their enormous market, the only thing standing in your way is the Reds. If we could do business with them, they wouldn't be a threat, now would they.

The point is that the Taiwanese do invest in China, and the trade between the two countries is of vital importance to the welfare of the Taiwanese. But they also recognize that they are being taken advantage of by the mainland because they have no standing in the international community, and thus no tribunal is available to them to seek remedy. By helping Taiwan maintain their constitutionally decreed independence (these claims of independence are not new), you are helping to guide China towards a recognition of the need to abide by a rule of law that is acceptable to the business community. They will be better off (sometimes I wonder about that, I would hate to see the massive marketing powers unleashed upon a naive and innocent people, it is utterly frightening to think what would happen to them) in the long run. Why delay the inevitable? It is just a matter of time before China succumbs to the natural evolution of society towards a free and open marketplace. Prolonging the agony for political gain is just another example of the atrocious crimes against humanity committed by the Clinton.
