Long time no see!

Re: K8; I don't believe it's even taped out yet, so proclaiming that it can "come out early" is probably a bit premature. I suspect you may have come to this conclusion already.

JC's site has some thoughts on The Register story that started this rash of K8 euphoria that might be worth checking out.

Excellent point !

Maybe the AMDroids think a 64 bit K8 will only need existing 32 bit x86 software.

Of course, Microsoft can always be counted on to crank out a new OS in 3 or 4 years.
