Agree completely (except of course on the early retirement bit)! The ROI curve for my quantitative analysis efforts on stocks I invest in is pretty flat. Besides, when going long term, it rarely makes any difference.

Also, before I forget, I was thinking about what Joel mentioned on the G&K Thread regarding ARBA and CMRC. This might be a very good place to initiate discussions on a market segment, and the perceived leaders in that segment.

Any thoughts?

Safeguard Scientifics Raised to 'Buy' at First Union Capital

Princeton, New Jersey, Sept. 7 (Bloomberg Data) -- Safeguard Scientifics Inc. (SFE US) was raised to ''buy'' from ''outperform'' by analyst Bennett Notman at First Union Capital Markets. The 12-month target price is $86.00 per share.
