I just noticed looking at the RMBS weekly chart that last week was the second biggest volume week ever: 12MM shares traded. Second to the week of 6/21/98 when it traded 10MM in a day and 22MM in a week.

bp,

Funny, the only names I recognized were KM's and Greg Mullineaux's.

bp,

Okay, now I'm confused. From what I can tell from the "Time To Short RMBS?" thread, most of the postings occurred from August to November of 1997. I'm looking at a monthly Quote.com chart (pretty rough) and it looks like the price, except for early August, was between 45 and 60 (say low 50's average). Now we're at 91-ish. I calculate that as about a 30% annualized return for the two years.

Are you saying that this isn't good? That 3X the historical 10% return from the market isn't acceptable?. Are we so jaded that a 30% per year return is scoffed at?

What have we become????????

<VBGGGGGGG>
