Hi Maintenance,

Seems to me that somebody is anticipating its release soon, hence the rise today. Winspear has taught us it is not smart to ignore these quick little rises. So I added a few shares to my freebies today. Probably once the study is released, the damned price will drop again.

Some other hamster thoughts below.
Re: Winspear, I think we were all pleasantly surprised by the drill indicated tonnage reported some time back.
With the drill indicated resource as high as it is, and multiple entry points for adits possible, Winspear will probably specify to MRDI what they want the tonnage production to be, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 or whatever tonnes per day. MRDI will have to come up with preliminary capex, revenue and cost calculations to satisfy that variable.

I expect several production rates will be specified this time. RT knows a successful PP depends on those figures. Tonnage is there, diamonds are there,...and most important I think, lots of high quality 1 carat plus diamonds are there (25% of total carats but 72% of total value).

I think we will see a replay of last year after the PP, leading up to another exciting end of the year.

There is no doubt that Abers misstep on production calculations will cause a lot of grief for all future diamond producers in the NWT, but Winspear is a different animal as both companies involved are Canadian, and Canadians are in the drivers seat. The deal will be an all Canadian deal, and might proceed to production faster than a non-Canadian company operated mine. RT controls the development, and decisions can be made quicker, with little negotiation necessary. He has already laid the groundwork for native negotiations, government negotiations, environmental studies, and the like.

Finally, for now (gggg), production capacity can be built in modules as the mine is developed. There is no need to build some huge mega project like the Ekati or Diavik. There is no big behemoth company with egos that have to be stroked by having the "biggest and best" mine. The profits will stay in Canada.

I especially like the fact that everyone is now so pessimistic on the company. Just some thoughts, I'm picking up a few shares just in case.

maintenance - I agree completely. They have an obligation to move the process along as quickly as possible. Nobody expects them to be rash, but they should share information with the other owners ASAP.

I have heard from the company recently that the report should be released in the next day or two. So hang on, news is coming out shortly. That should spark a bit of interest again...not to mention endless debates!
