I place limit orders, after seeing the prices. Yes they kill you on the spread but that is life with strips. I miss many trades but at least bonds and strips yield 0.5% a month and will be the last to go to ZERO <G>

I use E*Trade on some orders and yes they have very bad executions, but do not charge commission on bonds and strips above 20.

The fix income community are notorious for their spreads.

E*Crap or E*rape or whatever will skin you alive on bonds if you use market orders. Waterhouse has been much better. Make sure you ALWAYS use limits at E*trade when trading bonds.
