No doubt, would you believe I just got my mail at 8PM. At least I can say this, "the mail did get through today".

My Peopleware book sits next to me unopened...ahhh, I love the smell of a new book.

Curious though...what kind of metrics does your management utilize?

Best, Michael

I may be one of the few left impressed with the fact a letter left Alabama on Thursday and reached me on Tuesday (Monday being a holiday) for 33 cents. A dang bargain. If there's money to be saved on the management side, do it. But I get a kid's amazement at the delivery of mail still.

I have a disabled man in my building who plans part of his day around waiting for the mail. I've seen the man who delivers the mail chat with him as he fills the slots for the 3 floors. That's cool. And our maildeliverer always had a wave for passing cars as she weaved her way down the roads in Alabama.

It's one of the few *personal* things left, imo.
