When I mean HYPE I mean MEDIA hype:

There are hundreds of sites that post DOOM and GLOOM Y too Kay news reports. Then to off set the DOOM and GLOOM, they post 1 or 2 positive articles on Y too Kay.

I am not going to argue the technical aspect of Y too Kay with you, because I am not a technical person. In saying that, I don't believe you have to have a technical background to debate Y too Kay. A lot of technical people who write about Y2K are writing doom and gloom ONLY.

I have a basic understanding of Y too Kay. They years I have played with computers, gizmos, and my own research on Y2K is enough for me to conclude Y2K is not a concern for myself, family, or my company.

In my opinion, Y2K is being exploited by selfish, dangerous people, and the media is having a hay day with this disaster hoax.

Now we have to be concerned about May 2000, the aligning of the planets and solar flares, give me a break!
