She couldn't "call" the summer 98 bear market. Remember GS was IPOing (calling a bear wouldn't have been too good for the IPO - eh) and pulled it about a week from the Oct bottom !

heinz, with all due respect, because you are one of my very favorite posters here, and because I am constantly amazed by the breadth and depth of your posts, why focus on the negative so often? I know this gets down to what makes a bear vs. a bull, but heck!! It's been a bull market for a long time, and I understand that that increases the chances for it to turn. But heck!! We all follow ta, so until it really happens, why focus on that eventuality??

As I have said before, I read this thread to keep by inate bullishness in check. Thank you!!!
