I don't have any desire to dictate what people do in their private lives. I don't know if this discussion stems back to the "should homosexuality be taught in schools" debate or not. If so, then it wasn't the people or the act that the conservative element wants banned, but the inclusion of homosexuality in their childrens' school curriculum. In this case, I agree that their beliefs should be respected as much as a person's sexual preference. If anyone here is saying that homosexuals don't have a right to making choices in their own personal lives, well, that's just a bit hypocritical. I don't agree with it being natural, but then I don't see oral or anal sex as natural. A large percent of heteros I know who argue against homosexuality are surprised when I tell them what I think of that.
Leave personal lives as just that, personal.

I was never a gay basher. I did not condemn or condone their lifestyle.

So you were then basically where I am now. Interesting. Was it just your son's revelation that moved you to being (as I perceive you here) an active defender of homosexual behaviour, or was it something more than that?
