that is the way it was, ok ...
a blivot is what we call it here .... 20lbs of sh#t in a 5lb container

I did a little "soup up and modify" on my own when I was younger ....
and now I'm the slowest driver out there on the boulevard .... ggg

now I just juice up the innards of the computer .....
that is what caused the trouble I've been having ....
brought the 300a Celeron back down to 300 and it runs ok .... slow but ok .. I'd had it running all the way up in the high 500s and had cut it back but it still caused some problems ...

I think I'm just going to buy a standard old 450 P3 and stick it in a BE6 mainboard with 256 meg of RAM and try that .....
stock and no souped up business ....
but it won't stay stock long .... I'll end up juicing it up too ..... hehehehe

I hate to tell Scooter now that he has ordered his new HD ... I found an IMB (quiet little baby, too) 7200 rpm 13 Gig for under 150 laid in hand .....
