Several of us mentioned that the motherboard could be a problem back in the Spring. This even before a Taiwan motherboard rep said that it wouldn't have a Taiwan mobo until September. Or was that a chipset?
Very little we can do about it except sit back and watch AMD and the Taiwan mobomakers handle the Athlon launch like the Keystone cops passing around a hot potato. Same thing happens when the Taiwan chipset makers make a new chip set, especially without Intel to copy, they fumble around with it and finally get it right after a couple revisions. AMD was smart to make their own chip set and mobo but dumb not to make more of them, the mobos that is.
