I echo the same frustration. I think the company's board is scared and frankly inexperienced. We have missed the biggest bull market ever when companies with way less are going public left and right. TMSS sits idly alone on the sidelines. Besides Dana Allen the same people have sat on the board for over 15 years. They just lack vision and quite frankly business acumen. TMSS has always been on the cutting edge but they lack the distribution and marketing capability. We could have given ourselves to MSFT in 1985 in exchange for warrants and we would have been better off. They haven't been willing to take the risk of taking a product and marketing the heck out of it at the expense of short term profits. If you did a study of other technology companies you must be willing to sacriface short term profits to create market share or generate interest. They have never shown the propensity to do so. They've said they are searching for a partner but nothing has really happened. As an investor I am treating my 30 cents a share as a speculative venture that may flop. The Board is not willing to take risks and must be happy collecting their director's fees and stock options. By the way I don't think any of the Board members deserve any options given the job they have done for shareholders. They need new blood on this Board. We're getting some but it's probably not enough. The independent directors are Doyle Cherry, Marshall Wicker, Dr. James Rau, David Wood and Russell Teubner. Wicker, Rau and Cherry have been on the board forever and bring little to the board. None of them have any substantial knowledge or direct experience in the software business. Wood and Teubner were recently appointed in the Spring of 1999 and they seem to have a little more experience in the industry. However, neither guy has big league credentials or experience. I would like to see the company be more bold. I have a feeling being located in Stillwater, Oklahoma has something to do with it.
