Hi,

IMO, in this type of market, news driven or whatever, where less and less significant news is found to fit larger and larger moves means to me that it VERY WEAK.

Constrast this volatility, perceived to be based upon weekly and almost daily financial numbers with LARGE
NEWS events of the past, from wars to impeachment to key resignations, where the market shrugged it off and showed great strength.

If I remember correctly, extreme volatility occurred similar to this in Sept and Oct of 1987, in a somewhat similar economic climate, a falling dollar, tendency towards higher rates, although higher then..

IMO also Greenspan's main worry is stock inflation and not the CRB.. He doesn't want his watch to remembered by the biggest bubble and subsequent burst.

My indicators are on a 30' directional sell at this time

Good luck and thank you for your help..
