Warren Beatty was once quoted as saying “I could have been a politician. Or I could bed a lot of women. I decided to bed a lot of women.” Now that it looks like another compulsive womanizer is seriously considering running for president, Scoop decided to do our readers a public service and provide this handy print-and-save guide to Warren's women (not necessarily in chronological order): Joan Collins met the 21-year-old actor in 1959. She got pregnant by him. Shortly after that, he scandalized Hollywood by having an affair with Natalie Wood, who was married to Robert Wagner, while they were working on “Splendor in the Grass.” Collins aborted the baby and dumped Beatty. He had a fling with Vivien Leigh when she was married to Laurence Olivier. He also reportedly had affairs with married dancer Leslie Caron, actress Jean Seberg and Britt Ekland. He went on to date Julie Christie. They stayed together for seven years, despite numerous affairs, including ones with Brigitte Bardot and Liv Ullman. He also had an affair with Cher. Although they once reportedly did it on the hood of a car, she claimed that despite his reputation, it was never that great. Beatty also reportedly had an affair with Mamas and Papas singer Michelle Philips. In 1967, he was linked with his “Bonnie and Clyde” co-star Faye Dunaway. He always insisted that he and Goldie Hawn were “just friends” - the buzz was that they were an item during the 1971 filming of “The Heist.” He was also romantically inked with Candice Bergen . When “Charlie's Angels” was the hottest show on TV, he was involved with co-star Kate Jackson. Beatty also dated Carly Simon, whose opinion of him is supposedly echoed in her song: “You're so vain.” Beatty was widely rumored to be having an affair with Dyan Cannon on the set of Heaven Can Wait, and was also linked to Joni Mitchell and Barbra Streisand. Diane Keaton was the woman who everyone thought would tame the wild boy, but their split was acrimonious. He was then rumored to be dating Jackie Onassis, but the former first lady dumped him when she suspected he was bragging to friends about it. Beatty had an affair with Madonna, and after that he became monogamous and married Annette Bening. “The moral of this story,” says one Washington source, “is that Bill Clinton should have an affair with Madonna. If it cured Warren, it could cure anybody.”
