Rude, I do think DG acquisition by EMC is on reason this happened, but in the end it is probably better to have the capability organic rather than partner. WSJ article says Michael Dell will appear in TV and print adds for DELL starting Saturday. It will broadcast on Monday night football, CNBC and CNN. Trying to personalize the company's image. The song they picked is "Magic Bus" by WHO. Hey, their songs seem to work for GTW. Fez

Dog, Dell is still building a complete portfolio of storage products. Until they have accomplished this,it is unlikely that they can go into full competition with EMC, IBM and CPQ in the SAN market. They need to acquire the software that permits cross platform storage as well as the storage hardware and interconnect technology. System testing these systems is also time consuming. So this new business may take a while to develop. Notice how long it is taking INTC to field MERCED. JK
