I don't know if this has been posted but it may be the reason for some of the weakness today after the good conference call yesterday.

JW CB - What do your tea leaves say if the Q breaks 157? What's your next support below that? The only reason I ask is if Naz was down let's say 50 points or more, the Q would probably trade below its 50 DMA which would give the short momentum players some added ammunition to really drop the price. Just curious about your views. Thanks.

(Teared out yahoo - Puma - board)
WASHINGTON, Sep 14, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- New Horizons Venture Capital, a Washington, Dc-based private equity firm, has announced that it has invested additional funds in NetCalendar, Inc., which powers The Daily Drill(TM) in order to bring new enhancements to market. According to T.J. Jubeir, managing partner of the investment firm and also a director of NetCalendar' "NetCalendar and its partners have been busy all summer developing, in tandem with Puma Technology, the most advanced calendar syncing available. This is not beta, and it doesn't preclude sections of the calendar like other syncing software. It makes available all of your appointments, to-do's and everything you need -- including public event listings -right into your PDA, and it's now ready for roll-out in the October release."In addition, The Drill Team has incorporated Web-based e-mail, TV listings and completely new content into its October release. "Unlike the others', NetCalendar's business model uniquely couples the needs of the end users for highly customizable information with the needs of advertisers for targeted, actionable demographic data. That's why the company is growing so quickly," Mr. Jubeir contends. Launched in February 1999, NetCalendar, Inc.'s The Daily Drill(TM), currently in its fourth release, has emerged as the most advanced Web calendar available. Thousands of users nationwide already rely on The Daily Drill(TM) to organize their time, simultaneously track personal appointments in tandem with public events (filtered according to preference), track to-do lists, and share selected scheduling information with family, friends, co-workers, and colleagues. Mr. Jubeir adds, "New Horizons' investment in NetCalendar fits our strategy of seeking out companies with unique models that deliver high value-added, differentiated services while generating longer-term, sustainable earnings."The private equity firm launched two funds to focus on internet-related investments. Through New Horizons I, L.P., through which it made its investment in NetCalendar the firm focuses on smaller, early-stage investments of up to $2.0 million. The firm targets larger early- and mid-stage investments of up to $20.0 million through its New Horizons II, L.P.SOURCE New Horizons Venture Capital (C) 1999 PR Newswire. All rights reserved.
