<<if the Q breaks 157? next support below that?>>

probably something ugly like 140-142
only troublesome fact to me is that Nasdaq Composite is near its highs now for the last couple months.. if it seriously falls back, we may be in trouble

I dont see that happening.. first victims in techland would be the pumped up issues.. most whacked stocks are ignored on a renewed rampage of general nature, unless the rampage is sustained

today's Korean chip competition story could be built up as a big negative.. let's see if current state (sitting on floor) results in positive spin.. like encouraging worldwide widespread adoption of CDMA

I see up basing some more.. support at 160 is very strong.. analyst meetings next week will provide some clarity on future.. nothing wrong with taking in some more fresh air here, new owners to step in, and analysts to draft up some solid spin.. the stench of Everen's hatchetwork is almost vented gone.. how does it go? -- hatchet with left hand and stroke with right hand, while buying stock with the shorthand

the US$ is a double edged sword.. a weaker value encourages exports.. a stronger value encourages stock investing.. however, a gradual sustained strengthening does not discourage exports (strangely).. a foreign entity looking to buy American will not wait until next year since dollar would be stronger still.. Rubin always preferred stronger dollar.. but it does inexorably bring about a sluggish export environment in time
