Marc (OT-a bit) Less than two weeks ago Aceh Guerillas came onto our e&p site in Sumatra, kidnapped the security guard, beat him to death, and then later dumped his body at the entrance to our Field Office. Hundreds also have been murdered by the Indonesian Military in Ambon- and now East Timor.

I could also tell you a couple of other interesting stories about Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, that never hit the press wires of late. Bottom line- you do not realize how good you have it in North America. Overseas, the discrimination and persecution of minorities is open blatant, and sometimes just unbelievable man's action toward man....How the Indonesian military can believe that persecuting minorities will help hold the Country together is far beyond my comprehension- can someone enlighten me as to what they are trying to accomplish?
