Here is an interesting story told in the application process for broker dealer with the State of Wisconsin. Last year on June 29th Gold Country Applied for its Wisconsin License. The very next day Wisconsin sent a notice that it was incomplete because they had no Options Principal listed with a series 4 license. They had until Dec 29 to correct this defect, which they did not even by March 17th. (Interesting to note the time frame here. On March 5th Charlie is showing Kristi a stack of applications that he says will be notarized and sent out with approvals coming in another 30 days. See #reply-8165505 ) On May 13th the State issued their formal Order: Based upon the attached Petition for Order I find that this action is necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of investors; Therefore pursuant to secs. 551.34(1) and 551.63, Wis. Stats., IT IS ORDERED THAT: The broker-dealer license of Gold Country Securities, Inc. is hereby denied. EXECUTED at Madison, Wisconsin, this [13th] day of [MAY], 1999. #reply-11206820
