Oh, plueease.

"Indonesia invaded East Timor illegally."

Please name me one country that invaded another country legally? We in this country are fine ones to talk. Let's see, Grenada, Panama, Yugoslavia, they were all since East Timor, weren't they?

It is time for UN with US and Australia support to
intervene militarily.

Yeah. And how many body bags are you suggesting the military buy for this one? An island invasion of the fourth most populous country in the world with no nearby friendly countries except Australia, and as far as I know Australia doesn't have any U.S. air bases or much of an air force, is a very different proposition from bombing the sh!t out of a snall country only an hour's flight away from multiple Nato air bases. And we damn near didn't win that one.

And boy, would China LOVE to come to the defense of Indonesia and convert them from the Western bloc, where they are now precariously perched, to the Asian block.

Sometimes you make even less sense than usual.

Re. absence of Indonesian "rights" in E. Timor -- so?

I will be quite surprised to see elements of Marine Amphibious Forces on Okinawa, showing up in E. Timor anytime soon. Perhaps to cover the evacuation of various "officials." I think that's about it.
