You are not alone Sue.For the last couple of days there have been trade lists that are about 6-8 minutes behind and all I have open is one ticker with 8-10 stocks,MD on one stock, the same stock's intraday chart and trade list.I also have SI open but minimized. If a stock is trading too fast on my watch list I remove it....
Late in the day the system slows down even more and I also have locking up.The Nasdaq real time feed has always been about 6-8 minutes behind as a minimum.....This is costly and can be very dangerous.

How much does Mytrac cost?Is it similar to CSW?Is the data in realtime real-time????

Sue,

To answer point 5. Yes minimized charts are still receiving updates. The bandwidth usage is not usually the problem, its usually related to how long the Java VM takes to repaint the chart.

Loading a chart, or switching from 1 to 3 days causes the chart to request some additional data from our servers. This is the source of the delays you are noticing. If you check the menu item "Retreive Trades" in the Ticker "Stocks" menu it will download all of today's previous trades before you open a chart. This will make it faster.

On point 7. We are really concerned about the possibility of the Ticker not being able to keep up with quotes. We will be making more optimizations and plan to add an indicator to warn you if the Ticker lags. I have seen this effect caused by too many multiple day Live charts, and by the Level 2 windows.

Thank you for bringing these problems to our attention.
