Thursday September 9, 11:10 am Eastern Time Fischer-E.Timor bound to affect IMF-Indonesia ties WASHINGTON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - The ``humanitarian and political disaster' in East Timor will affect the International Monetary Fund's ties with Indonesia, and the fund is also worried about a banking scandal which touches on key issues in its lending program, the deputy head of the IMF said Thursday. First Deputy Managing Director Stanley Fischer told a news conference that East Timor, which has descended into bloodshed and violence after a referendum on independence, was a problem for the entire international community. ``It will inevitably be taken into account by our membership,' he said.
