Blue the fondue pots a-bubblin' & frogs R dun, long tine friend. Hooray 4 Yellow Dog Pup's training transformation watching him figuring it out himself to hide from ducks must have been a thrill! What A Great Dog, and Mentored By U & Old Yellow Dog is His Pure Luck. Reminds me of a great moment long ago when my Late Great Black Dog Virgo (Lab, Australian Shepherd, Border mix)scratched at the door to proudly place a bagged #1 Burger Combo still hot from the local Jack-in-the-Box at my feet. Virgo looked like Lava, except with longer wavy hair and a white star on her chest with two front paws like gloves, Joe. I still have her hippie dogscarves, sentimental. Not being Annie-Get-Your-Gun-type of gal, though I love camping, boating, nature, being outdoors... even so can thrill to the thought how satisfying it must be to hunt in partnership with a dog or to get work accomplished with the help of a horse. In another lifetime, I guess.... Stock Market Huntress will have to be enough this time around. Your Yellow Pup & my Spotted Cats Birthdays in a week of each other... perhaps it's developmental Milestone Time for both their species! As Of Yesterday (same day for both!) The Talking Spotted Cat answered a question so she's thinking for herself, too... When we came home last night, asked daughter "Did you say hello to the cat yet?". Was astounded when heard the cat meow "Yeah" B4 my daughter could answer, sat proudly straight up at attention like a proud-dog would do to make sure we knew it was On Purpose! Tigerlily's First Word was "muhCat" (I'm a cat) she's said this from the day we took her home. Since then, she's gone on to say "MeOut" (walks on leash like a champ) "MeEat" (hungry) "Squack" (squirrel invading lawn) "BihBik" (birds) "Kit" (comes when called here, kitten) & the latest is "oRapp" (o crap if she has a complaint wonder where she got that one LOL). She lines up toy fur mice sometimes and chats them stories.... Maybe $oon.. That "Yeah" correct answer a breakthrough in her Market Training whaddyathink?! I had little hope for this flibbertygibbet kittycat at first but with progress she could B displaying Market Prediction Style in good time. Can't say if/when The Big Day could be, but now's time she hears more stocktalk 2C What If. Thinking time talking to her about Buy Sell Up Down, then move along to Tickers. Combining Stocktalk with Feather Wand Hunt and Mouse Retrieve Fieldwork (I'll look for a small toy duck) should do it. Cat always tries to touch my puter keys but I'm afraid of blitzing the whole thing so I keep her away from it. (as I once crashed a Library Network by twiddling my fingers on the keys idly I know this risk is real, no thanks). Tigerlily doesn't give translatable body signs like your Yellow Dogs do and probably never will so Talk's It. Any training suggestions apropos to Ocicats ("doglike" is breed trait)would be appreciated. No reason why a Cat can't go WS Duckhunting In The House! More 909s a-comin'2All, Joan
