Liddy Dole is the probable VP, with some chance of McCain should she falter. If he goes for regional balance, it will probably be Midwestern rather than Northeast, someone like Tommy Thompson. If he wants someone from the Hill, other than McCain, it will probably be someone very savvy about the Hill, like Orrin Hatch, to give him a legislative edge. The main moderate with a chance, if Alma lets him, is Colin Powell.....
