<Nick, you're one of the few old-timers still left here who weathered the storm. I'm wondering where jim nazium, munsters and the other old bulls went off to? (I know my pal Mark Heath threw in the towel out of disgust last winter, and contrarian indicator Greg sold at the bottom). And what of that perma-bear D. Lethe? >

Just a glutten for punishment however Im trying to adapt to the
strategy of buying and investing, rather then simply renting! I
suspect we will hear from some of these so they can add their own
two cents yet maybe not! My only regret, not buying more at the
lows however I share your sentiment and concerns about MTIC mgmt.
of Pearlman and company!

<In hindsight, it was only fair to give MTI a couple of quarters to get it right. Since the Spring they really have accomplished quite a bit. Notably:

- the GTE internetworking deal
- acceptance into Oracle's advanced technology ctr.
- launch switched fibre-based NorthStar, and DataServices product set
- deals with Funmail, 1-800 database, 24/7 media, and others
- the 25% stake in Caldera
- national advertising and hiring campaigns
- a 50% earnings surprise last Q>

Very well put, I have no clue as to the posting however I recall way
back maybe a year ago or so, and it might have even been yourself
who stated that the above is what MTIC needed to do to get back on
track! Are they there yet? Perhaps! Is this a temporary fake and
time to take the $$$ and run? Perhaps! Is there more to come and
MTIC really taking off particularly with the EMC+DGN consolidation?
Perhaps! Has management changed, learned from mistakes? Perhaps!
