Hey QuietWon, I am trying to research the effect that a subsidiary IPO has on the parent company. And are there any write-ups on the advantages of spinning off a subsidiary with an IPO?

It may be that Sideware Systems (SYD)on the Vancouver exchange is about to IPO it's new US corp in Herndon VA, Sideware Corporation. Since I have a heavy SYD position I'm trying to get the feel for how the Sideware Corporation IPO may effect the SYD parent.

Thanks for any pointers
Kris

FVCX valuation thoughts and expectations for mkt cap - mentioned this am on Tim's & Tokyo's threads

Next step in FVCX re-gaining investor confidence is an analyst statements - be they re-iteration or starting coverage.

Which analyst will be first? And where is Steve Harmon?

DRMD - their most recent drug is Cenestin (for menopausal women - has baby-boomer demographics going for it) and Cenestin is plat/vegetable-derived.

Current treatment for hot flashes in menopause is a drug derived from horse-urine.

If women only knew. I wonder which treatment will grow in importance -- hmmm
