Hi Bill - thanks for the SCMP's about Anwar Ibrahim [and others.] This is most disturbing. One has to wonder why the West would want to trust Mahathir when he is to reopen Malaysia again if he allows his political enemy to be bumped off so blatantly.

best, Bosco

He needs to ship out his hair samples to have tests done for Arsenic poisoning.

They did the very same thing with strands of hair from Napoleon in an attempt to prove he was poisoned by Arsenic while in exile on St. Helena.

I heard they used a urine sample which potentially can be tainted.

Regards,

Ron

Anwar poisoning claim a ploy, says Mahathir

REUTERS in Kuala Lumpur
-------------------------------------------
Updated at 3.55pm:
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad
said today that jailed former minister
Anwar Ibrahim deliberately timed
allegations of arsenic poisoning to cause
the government maximum embarassment.

[...]

Anwar's accusation that his political
opponents were trying to poison him also
came ahead of a major international
conference of jurists which opened in
Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

''We know why they rioted because APEC was
going on in New Zealand and the
Commonwealth Law Conference was going to
be held in Malaysia. They wanted to show
how dirty their own country is,'' Mahathir
said.
