Remember in most areas of the country they can be fired for being gay. Would you come out if you were in their shoes? Even I have only told one person at work about my kids. So I am in the closet (so to speak) where I work. Why don't I come out? No guts!!! But I am working on it.

Pretty shabby statistical analysis, Neocon. A few problems --- before you can run a decent sampling study you need a "frame" from which to draw your sample. The U.S. Census spends a bundle building a list of housing units from the population sample can be drawn. Do you know where we could get a list of homosexuals? Second, a matter of definition: what is a homosexual? Preference? Exclusive sexual release? Bisexual? I believe almost everything that is said about the economic condition of homosexuals is unreliable. Finally, does the questionable fact that homosexuals make roughly as much as non-homosexuals mean that homosexual lawyers, accountants, physicians, and professors are not discriminated against?
