<<I might add that no drug laws are wrongheaded>>
... ? Did you ever see the movie midnight express ? I don't know if you caught my earlier post about my cousin who is in jail for growing marijuana but I don't think he belongs there for that ... anyone can see alcohol is far more harmful than marijuana. I do not know how many families I have seen devastated by alcohol abuse. I know so many children of alcoholics that have suffered terribly yet I do not know one person who can say the same for marijuana. Off the top of my head I can think of 5 people who have died from alcohol abuse . What is it that makes marijuana worse than alcohol ? Just for the record I do not smoke pot but I do drink and further more I find pot smokers frequently annoying. I still think the law is unfair and wrong.

<<your singling him out for condemnation shows a clear bias.>>
My bias is I hate injustice and feel the drug laws of this country are foolish and very expensive. I hate seeing a privileged hypocrite like GW commit felonies and silently conspire to destroy the lives of young people who are no more guilty than he himself. I would admire him if he said " yea I had a real drug problem. It was the worse mistake of my life. But I do not want to see today's children branded for life because of immature victimless decisions."

<<I think you know where you can put your biased opinions>>
If I got the gist of this I found this comment rude and uncalled for .

<<If your friends got caught committing an obvious crime, they must not be very smart>>
As far as intelligence goes I doubt it has much to do with whether or not people are caught breaking laws. Just look at Clinton, Nixon, Ted Bundy, Jesus, and Socrates. They all were caught breaking laws and were all intelligent regardless of character.

<<had Bush been caught he would have been prosecuted>>
Call me a cynic but somehow I doubt if a Vice President's son or head of CIA's son is caught doing something like this they would do the time that an ordinary Joe would. In fact I think it would never be heard about. Laws and justice are 2 different things ... sort of like OJ.
